Pouring Jugs | Handmade by Alice Funge
Pouring Jugs | Handmade by Alice Funge
These ceramic pouring jugs are great for milk and cream or even just adding to a windowsill or shelf. It is decorated with the word ‘pour’ which is a snippet of potter Alice Funge’s, late grandmother’s handwriting.
Alice’s style is instantly recognisable from the white stoneware with poured coloured slips she uses.
Food safe and dishwasher safe, although hand washing is recommended.
Everything is handmade so sizes are approximate and products may differ slightly from the photos.
All of Alice’s pieces are wheel thrown on the wheel at her pottery studio in Warwickshire, UK. They are made using white stoneware clay and decorated with coloured slips and snippets of her late grandmother’s recipes and handwriting. Ever since Alice had the idea to produce a range of kitchenware, she wanted to add something special to it – her grandmother’s own handwritten recipes and writing seemed the perfect idea, adding a very personal touch to an already unique, handmade collection.
