Carmela has always been one of my inspirations when it comes to making fresh pasta, but she is also highly knowledgeable about traditional Italian cooking across regions.
Her fourth book, Northern and Central Italian Family Cooking focuses on the seasonal recipes from these areas, and includes everything from pasta and risotto to aperitivo, and a range of meat, fish and veggie based recipes. Carmela Sophia Sereno is an Italian food writer and cookery tutor. Carmela was brought up on a small farm in the north of Bedfordshire, but her family originates from the regions of Puglia and Molise in the south of Italy
Today, Carmela lives in a small Northamptonshire village with her four children and husband, where she balances family life with her work.
